Elastic cartilage, Epiglottis of human and monkey

Examine the centre of the section and locate the plate of elastic cartilage. Identify the chondrocytes. Are they seen in characteristic lacunae? Are the elastis fibres(darkly stained) evenly distributed? Identify the perichondrium.
