Thyroid gland

Survey your section under low power(X10 objective). The gland is composed of numerous follicles of different sizes. Examine one of them under X40 objective and describe its lining epithelium. The pink homogeneous mass stored in the lumen of the follicle is the secretions of the lining cells(thyroglobulin).
