Ileum(small intestine)

Under X10 objective, locate the finger-like processes(villi) projecting into the lumen. Study their lining epitheelium. Do you find a lot of goblet cells? What type of epithelium lines the small intestine? Identify the striated(brush) border. How does it appear in the electron microscope? See demonstration electron micrograph.
