Examine your slide with the naked eye. Identify the tonsillar
crypts(cleft spaces). Under X10 objective, note that the
epithelium(stratified squamous) that forms the surface dips into the
underlying tissue in numerous places to form the tonsillar crypts.
Numerous lymphatic nodules are present deep to the epithelial surface.
Do they have a germinal centre? What are their cellular components? Some
striated muscle bundles are seen towards the lateral aspect.
