Lymphoid Tissue

Look for lymphocytic collections which may be either disseminated or more organized in the following:

• Gastro-oesophageal junction Lymphocytes are distributed in the lamina propria.
• Ileum (Peyer's Patches)
• Appendix
• Tongue Lymphocytes deep to its epithelium
• Epiglottis Lymphocytes are seen deep to its epithelium
• Soft palate Lymphocytes are seen deep to its lining epithelium
