Under X10 objective, locate an area where the muscle fibres are cut longitudinally. At a higher magnification, can you recognize the striations(light and dark bands)? Note that the nuclei of the fibre is centrally located. Can yoou identify the intercalated discs(dense transverse lines)? Revise the ultrasound structure of the intercalated disc.
