Identify the various layers in the wall of the trachea. What is its lining epithelium? Note the thick basement membrane. Lymphatic tissue is found in the lamina propria. Mixed glands(serous and mucous) and blood vessels are present in the lamina propria. Identify the hyaline cartilage and the trachealis muscle. Blood vessels, nerves, lymphtics and adipose tissue are found in the adventitia.
