Under low power, identify the mucosa, muscularis layer and adventitia. What is the lining epithelium? Is there a submucosa layer? The muscular layer consists of inner longtudinal and outer circular smooth muscles. Mst of the muscle fibres are arranged circularly. In the adventitia are adipose tissue, blood vessels and nerve bundles.
