Position: Research Assistant / Research Fellow in Tissue Engineering
Job Description: We have two vacancies for a research assistant / research fellow to work with a multidisciplinary research team in the frontiers of tissue engineering.
Qualification:

Position 1:
Candidate should have at least a Master’s degree from a reputable university in cell and molecular biology, biochemistry or related field. The candidate must have the surgical skills and experience in handling large animals. Bench level experimental experience in cell and tissue culture and molecular biology would be an advantage

Position 2:
Candidate should have at least a Master’s degree from a reputable university in bioengineering or related field. Experience in cell and tissue culture and biomaterials/scaffold fabrication would be an advantage.

 

Salary will commensurate with qualifications and relevant work experience.

Position: Research Assistant / Laboratory Technologist in Mesenchymal Stem Cell Biology
Job Description: One Experienced Laboratory Technologist or RA in Mesenchymal Stem Cell Biology is now open for application.
Qualification:

Candidates should have experiences in cell culture and basic molecular biology with at least a Polytechnic diploma in medical technology/biotechnology or a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology and cell biology.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in practical laboratory techniques in the relevant areas.

 

Salary will commensurate with qualifications and relevant work experience.

Clinical Fellowships

LEE FOUNDATION/TAN SRI DR RUNME SHAW FELLOWSHIP IN ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY/HAND & RECONSTRUCTIVE MICROSURGERY.

The Fellowship will cover a six-month clinical attachment at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, National University Hospital or the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Singapore General Hospital (Pte) Ltd. The training can be in

  • Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery

Applicants must be from developing countries and must have some experience in these two specialities. Two awards are available for EACH fellowship.  There is no degree or diploma awarded on completion of training.
(Candidates on Scholarship should liaise with the School on type of entry permit/visa and  temporary medical registration matters.)

Clinical Fellowships with NUH

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, National University Hospital is offering fellowships in Spinal Surgery, Paediatric Orthopaedics, Arthroscopy and Adult Reconstructive Surgery, Sports Medicine and Trauma. These fellowships are open to foreign citizens to provide them an opportunity to train and upgrade their skills at the National University Hospital, Singapore. The successful candidate will be attached to a Division of his/her choice in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
The 5 Divisions are:

  • Division of Adult Reconstructive Surgery
  • Division of Paediatric Orthopaedics
  • Division of Spinal Surgery
  • Division of Sports Medicine
  • Division of Trauma
