Dr Nga served a year as a house officer (in
medicine, surgery and orthopaedics) followed by a year as medical
officer in the department of hand surgery as well as the family
health service.
She subsequently joined Department of
Pathology, NUS as Senior Tutor in May 2000.
She qualified as a pathologist in 2005, obtaining the MRCPath (UK) membership and FRCPA (Australia) fellowship. She is actively involved in the undergraduate teaching and mentoring of medical and dental students. Her current research interests involve the use of tissue microarrays to perform high throughput immunohistochemical studies using biological markers in the fields of sarcomas and lung tumours.
