Kong Bing completed his undergraduate medical
studies in 1995. He went on to serve 1 year of House Officership
in the Departments of Medicine and Paediatrics at the NUH and the
Department of Orthopaedics at Alexandra Hospital.
He then completed postings as a Medical Officer
at the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at the SGH, the Neurosurgery
Department at the TTSH, and thereafter in the Singapore Armed Forces
as his National Service.
He joined the department as a Senior Tutor
in April 99, and was subsequently appointed as assistant professor in 2004, after completion of his histopathology training.
He is also involved in Medical and Pharmacy
undergraduate teaching (tutorials and lectures) as well as tutorial
planning.
His current research interests are in the diseases of the skin and muscle.
