Making a difference to the science and practice of medicine - we are not here to publish papers that nobody wants to read. We want to make a difference to medicine through the research we do and in the lives of the students we teach.

Our Vision

Staff members are productive in research, with high quality papers and patents.

There are peaks of research excellence - research programmes in apoptosis, cell and tissue engineering, immunology and neurophysiology.

An excellent and attractive graduate programme in cell and molecular physiology.
