This project will be co-supervised by Associate Professor Hanry Yu (Physiology). Whilst the actin cytoskeleton has well-described roles during cell migration, the endoplasmic reticulum is also proposed to also influence cell migration. The project aims to investigate the novel functions of the endoplasmic reticulum in tumour cell migration, with a focus on its interactions with the actin cytoskeleton.
