Role of Proline Rich Acidic Protein and Heparan / Heparin Sulfate Interacting Protein
in Colon Cancer Cell Proliferation
The 2 genes encoding the respective proteins are over-expressed in colorectal
tumours compared to adjacent normal mucosa. Knock-downs and over-expression
of the respective genes in colon cancer cell lines are performed to understand
the function of the genes in cell proliferation.
